What Is the ERLT-300 Battery Load Tester?
The ERLT-300 is a professional e-rickshaw battery load tester built for Indian workshop conditions. It applies a real 300A resistive load for 10 seconds to each 12V block in a 48V e-rickshaw pack (100–200 Ah) — accurately identifying weak batteries before they fail on the road. How to Test an E-Rickshaw Battery with the ERLT-300

What is a battery load tester and why do I need one for my e-rickshaw?
The ERLT-300 applies 300A to a 12V battery for 10 seconds to check if it can deliver power under real load. It pinpoints the exact weak battery in a 48V pack causing range loss or breakdowns — before they fail on the road.

Can the ERLT-300 test car and inverter batteries too?
Yes. It tests any 12V lead-acid battery — e-rickshaw traction packs, tubular and inverter batteries, and car batteries. The 300A load suits larger 100Ah–200Ah batteries in particular.
How do I test a 48V or 60V e-rickshaw pack?
Test it one 12V battery at a time. A 48V pack is four 12V batteries in series and a 60V pack is five. Disconnect the series link, load test each block separately, and replace only the weak ones. Never clamp the ERLT-300 across a full 48V or 60V pack.
What voltage means an e-rickshaw battery must be replaced?
Under a 300A load, anything below 9.0V means the battery has failed and needs replacing. Between 9.0V and 9.5V it is weak — recharge it fully and retest before deciding.
Why does only one battery in my pack need replacing?
Batteries in series age unevenly. One weak block drags the whole pack down, so range falls even though the other three test fine. Load testing each block individually is the only way to find it — and it saves replacing all four.
Can I use it on a lithium-ion or LiFePO4 e-rickshaw battery?
No. This is a lead-acid load tester only. Lithium-ion and LiFePO4 packs have a battery management system that will cut out or be damaged under a raw 300A load.
How is a load tester different from a multimeter?
